I am the law

If you ask many people about Thailand many who have been there will tell you about the beautiful beaches, spicy food, and great beaches but also for the, judging by first impressions, severe sense of lawlessness compared to their home country.  This does not mean that Thailand is a place ruled by anarchy, far from it, it just means that laws are a little broader than they may be in the west and this takes a little getting used to for those who are considering living or working there full time.  This is why it helps to have legal assistance when living abroad and having your own personal lawyer is a great start.  Doing this means you have someone there to help you if you ever get in to a jam or have any legal questions regarding living or working in the country.  But when it comes to getting the best Thailand lawyer how do you determine which is the right for you?

Whilst money talks the loudest this does not necessarily mean that the end result is right for you.  Lawyers are very similar to things like clothes or cars or shoes.  You have to try lots of them to see which fits you completely.  Many people may prefer the best money can buy whilst others may prefer a local family firm with a more personal touch rather than professional.  After all many longstanding friendships are developed with lawyers and their clients as they can often see each other regularly and it always helps to have a friend who knows the law when you are trying to get on your feet safely.

There are many different law companies who offer lawyers who specialise in all areas of law you can think of so there is something for everyone.  But for those who may be thinking that a Thailand lawyer is not as qua
They are told that this is a job for life, like doctors and so they must have the mental attitude to understand this and adapt to the situation if they wish to graduate.  Law is very much a profession that guarantees a stable and steady income which can also be sizeable depending on what area of law is practiced as well.  Ultimately then it definitely helps to have a Thailand lawyer on your side and at your disposal during your stay in Thailand so that you always have someone around to assist you and who you can consult with should you happen to have any legal issues or questions and it always helps, no matter what the situation, to have the law on your side, especially when you are in a country where you are not native.
lified as a lawyer elsewhere this is not true.  All are trained correctly and pass the same exams as in the west, the only difference is the law itself and its rules and caveats that they are taught to practice.  This does make them any less of a lawyer in fact many may be better than their western counterpart due to the hard work ethic that is instilled in all Thai law students.

Getting the job done

Having a work permit in Thailand is actually something to be proud of in a sense.  It means that you are legally allowed to work in the country and this allows you to get a visa that means you are legally allowed to live in the country too.  Usually the immigration visa is tied to the work permit and both have to be renewed in 90 day intervals.  This is no bad thing considering, without a work permit in Thailand, you will always be classed as a tourist and so are not legally allowed to work and can only stay in the country for the smallest number of days only before you have to leave or get another tourist visa.

Doing this can be something of a hassle though as you usually have to fly out of the country to get another tourist visa and this can obviously cause a lot of disruption.  Having a work permit, it could be argued, is something of a security blanket for those living in Thailand and those who want to have a life out there.  Whilst the Thai law does not grant a foreigner the exact same rights as a Thai person having a work permit and all your visas in order can help make life much more calmer without the constant worry of visa overstay fees or the breakup of life through having to move out of the country to the likes of Laos to get your visa renewed which can take one day or up to several days depending on which border you go to.

But a work permit is also a sign that you have the skills to pay the bills, so to speak, and to get the job done.  A work permit in Thailand is only issued to those with an education level minimum of a university degree to prove  that the candidate is qualified but, what is more interesting, to prove that they have attained an educational level to prove that they provide value to Thailand with these skills that they have obtained. You have to understand that a university degree is still not mandatory in many countries and so having achieved this can be seen as something of a great feat and this is something that Thailand heralds and recognises, hence the work permit educational requirements.

This means that those with a work permit in Thailand are qualified for their job and therefore are granted the status to live in the country also.  However should the candidate lose the job then the visa and work permit go along with it so you really must be motivated and ensure that the job you are in is something you see yourself doing for a few years at least otherwise the chaos caused by losing it all or throwing it all away can be both detrimental for mental reasons but also for psychological reasons too.  It pays then to get everything in order when it comes to living and working in Thailand and having a work permit in Thailand is a great foundation upon which to build upon this.

Taking The Company Online

a business anywhere in the world can be a scary prospect.  Especially in today’s marketplace where e-commerce and online businesses, you could argue, is taking the place of traditional brick and mortar stores.  Many people, due to their lifestyle or such are unable to visit normal shops any longer and so that is why shopping online seems such a valuable experience and so much easier.  Because of that these patrons do not mind paying extra to get this service but not all countries are embracing online commerce as well as others.  If you look at Thailand for example there is a definite market and opportunity for those who are looking to own their own business for the Thai version of the likes of Amazon or eBay or to offer online grocery shopping or bill payment for example.

Thailand is still a little behind in this but as the infrastructure grows you can expect a surge of company registration in Thailand to be for online based businesses.  This then means that the usual rules and regulations involved in the company registration of a normal company in Thailand may no longer apply and so the requirements may need to be readdressed or rewritten to cater for the technological generation and the online crowd.  This would be a good thing for Thailand as it does lack in certain areas when it comes to offering online goods or services.  When you combine this with the fact that it should be mandatory that every online commerce website for a Thai company should be dual language (Thai/English) then everyone is set to benefit.

Unfortunately it may be some time before the company registration in Thailand is brought kicking and screaming in to the 21st century.  When this does happen many people will be happy because a bigger online presence for Thailand ultimately means a bigger presence in the world in general seeing as we are all interconnected and always online.  Company registration in Thailand though would need to be stricter for online based companies if they were purely online only.  But the influx of online companies would definitely be good for the economy as there is a need for the majority of companies to offer some sort of online presence to be able to compete in the global online marketplace.

Suffice to say it would be very advantageous for Thailand to offer more when it comes to creating and registering online only companies in Thailand.  It may still be a requirement to have an office as a base of operations and the financial requirements should be made higher as proof of viability and sustainability but in doing this it could mean that Thailand plays host to the next Google or Facebook or Twitter and that would definitely be well deserved as it would also kick start growth in the ICT field for students as well so that means that the company registration  in Thailand benefits everyone and that can only be a good thing for the country as a whole.

The pitfalls of registering a company in Thailand

The company registration process in many countries may not seem as strict or laborious as it is in Thailand and that may be why the government may consider relaxing the requirements a little to ensure that more foreign investment comes in to the country and provides economic growth.  Economic growth thus promotes the stability of the company whilst also ensuring that both foreign and domestic parties are catered for.  So there is no doubt that there are many benefits for all involved when it comes to company registration in Thailand but you just have to make sure that you meet all of the requirements if you wish to be successful and operate your own business in the region.

However too many businesses of the same nature can lead to market saturation which means that ultimately one company has to suffer.  You only have to look at how many 7-Eleven stores adorn a street in Thailand to see that any company that is registered to do the same job, unless they offer something truly unique will most likely fail even if they are accepted simply because 7-Eleven owns the majority of the market share and they are so long established that it will be very hard for anything that is not a giant western consumer goods franchise to make any sort of a difference to that.  Ultimately the business that you wish to create and own plays a big part too in the company registration process in Thailand as was explained and this is just as important, if not more so, than making sure all the subsequent requirements and financials are met also.

But running a business and owning a business are two very different tasks.  Both are not easy.  When you register a company in Thailand you must make sure that all the staffing requirements are met in terms of the ratio of foreign to Thai workers and all the foreign workers must be educated to university level at least in order for them to gain a work permit and be able to live and work in Thailand legally.  Having all these requirements makes sure that the company is not entirely foreign owned as that is not allowed for the obvious reason being that there needs to be some Thai influence in the company and this is outlined in the requirements in terms of forming the actual company itself to operate and work in Thailand and is one of the requirements you must meet to ensure success.  If you follow the rules then it means that you should pass the company registration process successfully and smoothly and this means you are then well on the road to success in terms of successfully owning and having a business in Thailand.  This in itself can be a rich and rewarding experience so make sure that all the requirements are met and followed and this will always lead to a positive outcome when it comes to owning a company and company registration in Thailand.

Building the right company

In these days of everyone being online and interconnected it is very easy for even the most business allergic person to own a business of some sort.  Thanks to the emergence of the likes of social networking and e-commerce it does not take much to claim that you are a business owner or to realise your dreams of owning a business or turning a part-time hobby in to something more.  But what exactly does running a real business entail and how can you be sure that the business you have set up will be economically viable and will be sustainable in today’s market where the economy is not exactly at its peak?

The secret to the success of any company is the same the world over.  It is not just the people who helped make the business come to life but also the goods that they sell and how it is marketed and such and so all these play a vital part in making a business successful too.  Understanding the markets and culture is important too and that explains why, whilst many people are interesting in owning a business in places such as Thailand, they are not always successful.  This can be due to several factors but mainly it is due to not understanding the culture or Thai market enough to see competition, threats, weaknesses or strengths.  Despite this there are so many applications to register a company in Thailand that the entire process of company registration in Thailand can seem to be very daunting indeed.  However business is bureaucracy at the end of the day and the company registration process in Thailand is no strange or exception to this.

Despite the mountain of paperwork and hurdles, both in terms of company structure and organization as well as financial, it is definitely possible to successfully register and own a fully functioning company in Thailand but not everyone has the will or patience to do this, especially if things start to go wrong or the process, which can take some time, becomes even more drawn out.  Either way company registration in Thailand need not be more pain than it needs to be and you can definitely successfully navigate all the rules and requirements to a successful conclusion and this shows that people and their actions definitely contribute towards creating a successful company.

So if you are entertaining the notion of owning a company in Thailand then it is recommended to look up and research and read about the company registration process in Thailand so that you can fully understand the needs that must be met and the requirements that will be imposed upon you.  Once you have a grasp of what is needed and what you will be needed to submit and agree to then the sooner you can start the company registration process in Thailand and be on your way to a successful outcome as being prepared and being fully researched and clued up is the first step towards success when it comes to company registration in Thailand and sustainable commerce in the region.

Online or offline when it comes to company registration in Thailand?

Every week hundreds of company registrations take place in Thailand but only a few succeed.  Why is this?  The reasoning behind the success or failure of every application depends on factors such as paperwork.  Is the paperwork in order and complete?  Is it translated in to English and Thai with an official company stamp?  Does the company in question have the correct ratio of Thai staff to foreigners?  Is the foreign staff university educated?  Does the business provide a service that cannot be done by Thai people normally?

All these factors are taken in to consideration when a company registration takes place in Thailand.  With many businesses being online only through e-commerce you have to wonder when Thailand will allow for online businesses to be registered in Thailand.  In fact they do do this if the company meets the criteria already stated.  You can operate a company that exists mainly on the internet but obviously it is best if your customers are real people who you can interact with.  The same rules and regulations apply though whether your business is offline or online primarily and you need a physical office space as your base of operations to start from and this, as said, needs the correct ratio of staff also.  All foreign based staff needs to be university educated with a work permit to ensure that they are giving something back to Thailand through their level of educational and work experience.

Unfortunately the process of actual company registration in Thailand is primarily offline and paper based.  It would make things a lot easier if this process was made online where documents could be submitted online for approval and then only do they meet officials in person to go any further.  But this then highlights the fact the official may not speak any other language except Thai fluently which creates the miscommunication or lost in translation issues that can usually occur when dealing with beauracracy in other country that is not your own.

Therefore it highlights the need that the officials who are involved in the company registration process in Thailand need to be able to communicate the applicants as well.  This issue is why the majority of applications are vetted by a third party legal organisation first before being officially submitted to make sure that everything has been met and covered and this all helps ensure that the company application process in Thailand is smooth and successful otherwise it will be sent back and you need to recheck the documentation again and resubmit.  So it makes sense to check, double check and even triple check the application forms and documentation to ensure that everything is in order before submission to avoid any mistakes or issues that may occur later due to the process of company registration in Thailand being exceedingly lengthy.  Because of the length of the overall process many people think that a paperless procedure would be the way forward but the infrastructure needs to be there to deal with the number of online applications but with everything now moving online it is only a matter of time before the process of company registration in Thailand moves online to the cloud also.

What happens after a successful Business in Thailand?

So you are really excited.  You have just completed the Business in Thailand process with the help of some legal advice and assistance and you are wondering what happens next.  Well, your company becomes registered as a Thai company in the region and can then start trading as it did before.  There are a few things though that you need to be made aware of.  Working in Thailand is not the same as living in Thailand and the majority of first time business owners who are running a business in Thailand fall for this mistake the most.  You have to understand that even though your Thai company registration was successful and you are now the owner of some plush offices in Bangkok with view overlooking the river that this does not guarantee the success of the company.

As the owner of the company you have to ensure the company can keep moving forward and progressing and making sales and to do that you obviously need staff.  Working with foreign staff may be something that many business owners are used to but working with Thai staff is a completely different set of rules and things to consider.  For example you have to understand the concept of traffic and rain when it comes to work in Thailand.  Both of these can affect staff coming to work or leaving work and so you need to make allowances for this.  When the weather is particularly bad during rainy season check with the owner of your offices the condition of the wiring and power generator because it is not too uncommon for a rainstorm to take out power in the building.  If you have no backup power or backup plan then you need to ensure that staff have the ability to work from home otherwise time is lost and time is money as they say.

If you are dealing with commerce and spend a lot of time online in conferences between offices or other departments or such then having a strong internet connection is required.  Again, due to the weather there are times when the internet just stops working or becomes incredibly slow and sluggish which impacts staff performance and work output.  There are many providers in Thailand when it comes to the internet so make sure you have one that provides the latest fiber optic lines and a business plan if possible for best results and, again, if possible, make sure there is a backup plan if the internet goes off for any long period of time.  These are only a few of the things that you need to take in to consideration after a successful Thai company registration that allows you to get your company off the ground and up and running.   With these tips you will be on the road to success because they deal with productivity and output which drives the majority of companies and also deals with two major factors when performing business in Thailand which is staff and infrastructure.

Is company registration in Thailand for you?

Owning and running a business is not for everyone.  Many people are simply not cut out for it or they have a great idea but they do not have the business sense to make the idea happen and in to a successful business.  There are moments of people owning a business and, initially, all seems well but, due to their lack of business sense or being surrounded by those who may not understand the nature of commerce as best as others might, the business makes a few questionable decisions and this ends up having a severe impact on the company and its lifespan and outcome.  When you factor in this with the business operating and being established in a country that may not be the native country that its owners are from then the desire to succeed should be even stronger due to the increased amount of risk that is involved in running a business in a foreign country.

First of all it makes sense to take some time to get to know Thailand and the country itself and the people to see if the country would serve as a good base of operations for your next big business idea.  Sadly many people who attempt company registration in Thailand do so just for the chance to be able to live the dream of working on the beach.  Sadly, to do that, a lot of money is needed in terms of keeping the business afloat and obviously to make money you need a good idea and a sound company structure.  Many attempts of company registration in Thailand that are successful result in a company being created that provides a niche product which mainly survives because it is provided in English or another language or marketed to those markets and obviously Thai companies may not fare so well compared to a Thai registered company that does the same job.

It also takes time to run a successful business and, for a while, many businesses may actually be running at a loss to start with after a successful company registration in Thailand.  For businesses that have offices all around the world this is not a problem as revenue comes through other offices or ventures but for those who only have an office in Thailand and nowhere else this can mean the difference between the company surviving or dying so it makes sense that if your company is going to solely operate out of Thailand that you make the most of your company registration in Thailand and by this it is meant that you ensure your business idea and practices are solid.

Taking some time to make sure that your business idea is sound and is actually viable when it comes to operating in Thailand can make all the difference when it comes to company registration in Thailand too which is why it is beneficial to take some time to research the entire procedure before jumping straight in to it and it is always best to be safe than sorry.

What are the benefits of Thailand company registration?

As with everything, when it comes to Thailand, everything is governed by a strict set of rules that must be followed.  It seems that even in Thailand there is still tons of paperwork and bureaucracy which seems to be present everywhere in the world when it comes to governmental organisations and policies and so, if you think that Thailand company registration is full of paperwork and requirements then you would be right.  Research is the key when it comes to Thailand company registration; make sure you know what you are getting yourself in to before you start the process completely.  Perhaps the best advice that can be given is to look on the internet for companies that are specialising in helping foreigners get their businesses registered and up and running in Thailand.

With the law on your side you can then start to understand the complexity of the Thailand company registration process on the whole as well as the benefits of making sure it is all done properly and is done to the letter.  Procedures and processes such as this need to be performed very carefully so even if you need to check every little detail it is always beneficial to triple check everything and if you can provide a direct line to a representative of your existing company (if applicable) who deals with financials and such who can work with the legal help to give the information needed then you will find the process is a little easier to swallow.

The benefits of Thailand company registration are obvious near enough; it allows you existing company or brand new company to get a foothold in the Southeast Asian market which, if research is to be believed, is one of the most rapidly developing ones at the current time.  Because of this many people and companies are seeing Thailand as an attractive place for either the next big internet startup or the ideal place to build upon an existing company and have a base in Thailand to go face to face with competitors in Singapore and Hong Kong and such.  Thailand may still be classed as a developing country in many ways but in certain areas they are at the forefront.  Business and economic growth, especially through turbulent political times has shown how strong Thailand can be and this is a good signal of what to expect when doing business in the region also.

Thailand is a strong country and a great place to visit or live and, for companies, it is definitely a great place to settle down in if you are serious about exploring new markets in the region.  But as with everything make sure that your company meets the needs specified by the officials who deal with the  Thai company registration process because the last thing you w ant to happen is for your application to be revoked due to some small technicality as that would be a great shame.  So practice makes perfect which requires preparation and that is the key of Thailand company registration on the whole.

How can you be successful when it comes to company registration Thailand?

As in life and with anything that is a process that has a right or wrong answer it is always best to make sure you are more prepared than less in terms of ensuring a positive result and outcome.  Company registration Thailand is a big thing and a lengthy process that can take up to a matter of weeks as it is something like project management in and of itself and managing a project and all the pitfalls and requirements that may be needed to ensure a successful delivery.  If you are not sure of what is meant by comparing project management with company registration in Thailand take some time to think about what project management is and the steps involved.

When you manage a project you choose a methodology that best suits the nature of the project, because the company registration process in Thailand involves a lot of paperwork we can go with the waterfall method.  The waterfall method has stages that must be met and passed before moving on to the next, the same as the company registration process in Thailand.  First, when it comes to project management, you have to gather all the requirements needed for the project such as what is wanted and the resources and who is in charge of allocating those resources and so forth.  The company registration process in Thailand is the same except the project requirements are replaced by the details about the respective business.  Who owns it, how many employees, where it will be located, area of commerce where it will be offering its services to?

Once you have that information you move to the next step and submit it for approval.  This is the same as moving from step to another once all requirements are gathered as part of the waterfall project management method. The idea that is trying to be illustrated here in comparing a project management methodology with company registration in Thailand is to highlight how important gathering documentation and meeting requirements is to the overall process and it is usually the lack of documentation or lack of requirements or criteria having been met that means that the company registration process in Thailand and its subsequent application fails.

This means that you really need to be prepared when it comes to company registration in Thailand.  Take some time to check all requirements are met and that all documentation is official and stamped and that your company meets all the needs and requirement s of the application process either.  The process will fail either because the business is not deemed viable enough to survive or lacks the funding needed to survive for the minimum amount of time or, it does, but the documentation is not correctly submitted or approved by the correct officials and this means that sadly the process will most likely fail and you will need to resubmit and recheck everything again to make sure that the next time you attempt company registration in Thailand that you get it right.

What does it take to register a company in Thailand?

Registering a company in Thailand is not an easy task.  Many people struggle with this due to the sheer amount of information needed in order to be successful.  In truth the majority of times that company registration in Thailand fails is due to be being unprepared.  By this it is meant that there is not enough meat on the bone so to speak when it comes to turning a concept in to a reality.  Company registration in Thailand will ask and enquire about every aspect of your prospective business, from the name, age, employees to the business type, structure, services and all the financials that go along with that also.

In order to understand why it is such a mammoth task for company registration in Thailand you have to understand the reasons behind the assessment which determines whether or not the company registration is successful.  When you think about there must be many, many applications for company registration in Thailand every day and in order to separate the wheat from the chaff (those that will work compared to those that will not) a rigorous application process is undergone and it is this process which the majority of people struggle with when it comes to company registration in Thailand.  They struggle because there are miscommunications or documents are not authenticated properly or there are simply misunderstandings in terms of what is needed against what is required or given.

Your business and idea will undergo immense scrutiny which is something that scares a lot of people, especially when it comes to finances and proving that the company can actually make money.  It makes no sense to approve a company registration in Thailand if the company cannot financially sustain itself for at least one year or is targeting a market there is already saturated with businesses that are Thai owned doing the exact same thing.  Because the marketplace is fierce and competition is strong your business needs to be sure that it can survive and offers a service or need that Thai companies cannot fill or perform.

This is why a lot of companies that are foreign owned deal with areas that Thai business may be lacking in such as English teaching or IT or telecommunications.  In each of these areas, whilst there are Thai businesses doing this too, the level of expertise is not as good as it is from the foreign owned business and so the company registration in Thailand for a company of this nature will most likely be approved as the company is bringing something new to the market that is lacking in the current Thai businesses.  This means that a good idea alone cannot guarantee success when it comes to business registration in Thailand but it can definitely help.  All you need to do is make sure you meet and understand all the requirements when it comes to company registration Thailand to stand a good chance of being successful and applying your skills and services to a new market.

The basics of company registration in Thailand

Owning something and being its sole caretaker is a full time job with a lot of requirements and a lot of risk.  Owning a business itself is a risk as the economic future of the company and the country that it is located in may not be as stable as was once though.  Many people used to believe that the Western world was more financially stable than the East but from 2007 onwards, with the decline of the UK and such this has made many people look at the West now and its business practices and question whether or not there is any merit any more as to having a major business hosted there.

That is not to say the likes of McDonalds will relocate its headquarters to Singapore it is just that the main companies and the big players are taking a particular keen interest in investing time and money and resources in to Asia as they see that as being more stable than the West.  However, whilst it is unknown how strict company registration is in those countries if they were to permanently relocate then there are specific requirements that must be met when it comes to company registration in Thailand.  Obviously first time company owners are going to struggle more and be under more scrutiny during the entire process than those who already own businesses that are well established.  That is why many new business owners who are using Thailand as their first time when it comes to business experience need to take some time to learn more about the process of company registration Thailand.

Contrary to popular relief having enough money is not just it and there are many other factors that need to be taken in to consideration also.  Plan the location of the offices, the number of staff who are involved and make sure you can afford the resources and equipment to carry out the job as well.  There is nothing worse than under budgeting and not having enough money to ensure the company is able to run smoothly and be self-sufficient for the first month or so as it stabilises and gets on to its feet.  The same applies to not having enough money to pay staff salaries at the end of the month as that not only puts the staff at risk (losing face is a very big thing in Thailand) but is also highlights that maybe owning a business in Thailand, if at all, is for you.  Therefore, whilst the company registration process in Thailand is not a screening method for who is a great CEO and who is not it is a process that is set to show that at least people are serious about having a business in Thailand and sometimes that, and a little hard work, can be enough to ensure that the business survives and provides benefit to the people of Thailand and the country of Thailand itself and that can only be a good thing which Thailand needs more of.

Thai company registration and its pitfalls

Whenever a company owner or prospective company owner is looking to expand in to the Asian market they always target the likes of Singapore or Hong Kong due to the attractiveness of the markets and forecast and such.  However Thailand is now becoming a melting pot for new business opportunities and ventures and this does mean that there is a sudden increase in the amount of Thai company registration applications who are looking to get a piece of the action so to speak.  There are however many common pitfalls or mistakes that happen when the Thai company registration process is taking place.  These focus mainly on financial aspects as owning a company is not a cheap venture and many people think that they can somehow brush aside the financials and that it will not matter when, in truth, it is probably the most important factor when it comes to the Thai company registration process and it is the biggest stumbling block also in terms of which applications are successful and those that are not.

The financial element has long been under scrutiny with many thinking the regulations and requirements are unfair and others thinking that they are too lenient.  The Thai officials who deal with Thai company registration are able to change the requirements at any given time but this has not happened recently due to the need to more foreign businesses to create more jobs in the region for Thai staff and add benefit and knowledge to Thailand as a whole.  Commerce is big business, especially trade between two countries who can share knowledge and experience to create something new.  An example of a successful venture between Thai and foreign businesses would be the building of the BTS Skytrain and MRT transportation services.

If you can prove that your business and products can be beneficial to Thailand and its people then it means that the Thai company registration process will be a lot easier.  However the financial aspect is still there and needs to be dealt with.  The financial rules are there to prove that the company that will be registered has the means to survive, pay its staff and equipment and such and having the money beforehand is a definite sign that the person submitting the application process is serious about making it happen and so is therefore more likely to make sure that all the rules and requirements are met.

Therefore the Thai company registration process, with all its rules and regulations is most likely purposely designed that way to ensure that the applications they receive are genuine and the businesses and their ideas and background are worth investigating also as they will most likely bring business to Thailand and the region which is the reason why the Thailand company registration process exists to start with, to promote growth and relations between Thailand and other countries whilst at the same time providing goods, services and jobs that can benefit the people of Thailand and this makes perfect business sense.

What makes people want to do company registration in Thailand?

There are many reasons to own a business.  Many do it as a feeling of empowerments, others do it because it is a family tradition and so they feel obligated to carry on, others simply want to see if they have what is needed to be able to make something work and take the responsibility of it.

In a recent survey conducted amongst Western business owners it was discovered that the majority of business owners, if they had the chance to do it all again, would instead opt to have their business in Asia instead of the West due to the way that the economy in the West has become volatile.  Asia is sustaining far better than the West at the moment when it comes to business growth and economic stability and this is why more and more business owners are becoming attracted to the idea of having a company in Asia but they are unsure where to start and what the requirements are.

Thailand is a fabulous tourist destination but it is also becoming a hub for foreign markets, business and growth which is why there has been a sharp increase in the number of people wanting to expand in to Asia and so need to perform company registration in Thailand to make sure that they can expand safely and successfully in to this new market.  Company registration in Thailand is not without its risks, many businesses fail to meet the requirements needed to gain approval because of simple miscommunication or misunderstandings in terms of cultures.

When expanding in to new markets it always pays to research what is involved, how long the process will take and what the outcome will most likely be.  As with everything making sure you research company registration in Thailand and what it involves before you actually try it is a great way of making sure you meet all the specifications and know what will be asked and what documents to provide and to whom.  As with all things the nature of the company registration process in Thailand is quite slow and involve a lot of paperwork so make sure all your documentation is in order and is also translated.

Doing this allows for company registration in Thailand to go that much smoother because the majority of business applications fail, as said, due to miscommunication and usually that is due to the lack of translated documents, after all, if the documents are not in Thai then how can they be understood, approved and thus allow you to move on to the next stage of the process when it comes to company registration in Thailand?

That is why taking the time to research this process and making sure you have all the requirements and processes needed will ensure that the company registration process is all that more smoother and all that more easier to perform and undertake.  Because the process can take a rather long period of time it makes sense to have everything in order when you need it to avoid and delays or confusion later when it comes to company registration in Thailand and being successful.

What is Thai company registration?

Thai company registration is simply the set up and creation of a business, by a foreigner, that is designed to trade and operate in Thailand in similar fields to that of the original business.  It is not always clear if you need a business that is currently operational as proof of your entrepreneurial skills as it depends on who you talk to.  Many say that you can easily create any business in Thailand as long as it is related to a field of work that is not associated with Thailand meaning that, basically, Thai people cannot do the same job to the same level or quality that a foreigner can such as teaching English.

However many people believe that having the capital required for Thai company registration in a Thai bank account is not enough.  It is always best to prove you have a successful track record when it comes to managing and setting up a business as it gives the application more credibility and allows it to stand on its own instead of looking like a company on paper only.  There are many companies that are submitted as part of the Thai company registration procedure that exist only on paper and what that means is that there is no real business or physical office, the business is usually approved due to having exceedingly healthy finances alone or for meeting all the other requirements also.

Usually these companies, contrary to what you may think, do not exactly last that long because, without a proven track record, diving in to the pool of business management in Thailand without any sort of life preserver can be a very disastrous  proposition.  It also shows lack of forethought in the form of not anticipating that the Thai company registration procedure would check the viability of health of the business before approving the company creation as a public limited company in Thailand (this is usually the most common type to set up with the easiest requirements).

Thailand takes the company registration process very seriously and will not approve everything they see or look at.  In order to be successful when it comes to Thai company registration it pays to read up on the laws of Thailand when it comes to commerce and performing business in a different part of the world as the same rules and regulations are not the same there are it may be in the home country of whoever submitted the application to set up a company in Thailand.  But with a little bit of research and ensuring that the application process is completed properly and the business in question is a real company with a real objective for having offices in Thailand then there is a definite advantage to performing Thai company registration.  First and foremost, being able to do business in Thailand gives you an open door to this wonderful country and allows you to perform business in that region whilst looking to strengthen existing ties that your business may have with other countries in the same region.  Thailand may be a relatively small country but it has the potential to be a big player on the world business stage for anyone who is willing to make sure they file their Thailand company registration process correctly.

Respecting the Thai culture not only make your business look good but it also serves as intent and purpose.
